Woodcuts wasn’t the first mini-series in the podcast’s history, but it was the most self-contained. It came to me when I was running a role-playing game in which I needed books to be somehow interested and unexpected. In that story, the books themselves each had personalities and histories, and they could manipulate their contents to get things done, including mobilizing for a desperate escape against difficult odds.

It didn’t take long for that idea to migrate over to the podcast, and the story formed quite quickly, becoming one of my proudest creations, which kept expanding as I kept discovering things along the way. Here are all four episodes gathered together for your listening pleasure. I hope you enjoy them.
